Australia – Melbourne/Geelong Applications Open
“Boondies From the Bard’s Garden”.
The International Actors Ensemble welcome actors to submit a self-tape audition for workshop performances in Melbourne and Geelong between 2-5th May 2018.
We are looking for 2-3x actors to participate in our performance project at Geelong After Dark and additional performances at The Butterfly Club, Melbourne.
Please self-tape 2x short pieces of Shakespeare text (Monologue or Sonnet) and fill in the application form.
Please provide headshot and resume and list any “ready to go” Shakespeare scenes/monologues/sonnets that you enjoy doing and can perform with little rehearsal.
The theme of this years Geelong After Dark is “Earth” so consider any pieces you know well that reference Earth/Nature.
Induction and workshop rehearsal will be on Wednesday 2nd May in Melbourne at The Butterfly Club during the day.
Travel and set-up in Geelong will be on Friday 4th May during the day.

Wednesday 2nd May – The Butterfly Club, Melbourne (45-60mins)
Thursday 3rd May – The Butterfly Club, Melbourne (45-60mins)
Friday 4th May – Geelong After Dark (2x 15-20mins)
Saturday 5th May – The Butterfly Club, Melbourne (45-60mins)
